Christine was joined by Sajida Mahdi Ali, Associate General Counsel and Vice President of BMO Financial Group, Bindu Cudjoe, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Canadian Western Bank, and Terrie-Lynne Devonish, Chief Legal Officer of Altus Group.

The panel discussed strategies on empowering the legal marketplace to enable a more equitable, diverse and inclusive legal profession. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the legal space means enabling a thriving workspace for both clients and lawyers. It means strengthening the quality of work through breaking down systemic barriers and providing diverse perspectives, ideas and outlooks. The panel discussed how to engage in more opportunities and visibility for new and existing lawyers, as well as transparency in law firm ED&I initiatives.
